Judith Downie (Library, Reference/Information Literacy Program) has won a research grant from the American Library Association's Government Documents Roundtable. This $2,000 award will fund further work in librarian's use of government documents in student research instruction.

Susan Thompson (Library, Systems) and Gabriela Sonntag (Library, Reference/ Information Literacy Program) co-authored a book chapter, “Building for Learning: Synergy of Space, Technology and Collaboration,” published in Learning Commons: Evolution and Collaborative Essentials, edited by Barbara Schader, Oxford: Chandos Publishing (2008).  The chapter describes the process of building our new library from the perspective of designing technology and space to enhance library-wide teaching and learning.
