Renowned Juggler-Comedian Chris Bliss Performs at CSUSM’s Gala April 26
“If you’re looking to laugh, you can’t do much better than Chris Bliss.”
So wrote the Washington Post in its review of the internationally known variety artist who has also been called “one of the brightest comedians around” by Tonight Show host Jay Leno.
Chris Bliss performs Saturday, April 26 at California State University San Marcos’ annual gala to be held in the Aragon Ballroom of the Rancho Bernardo Inn, 17550 Bernardo Oaks Drive, San Diego. Themed “Celebrate in 2008!,” the gala also features after dinner dance music by the Mar Dels.
Bliss has toured with such artists as Eric Clapton and Julio Iglesias, and was chosen by Michael Jackson as the opening act for his record-breaking "Victory Tour." A video of one of his juggling tours de force went viral earlier this year, receiving more than 20 million hits on the internet.
Celebrate 2008! will raise critically important discretionary funds to support professional development for faculty, research and student programming and services at CSUSM. Cost is $275 per ticket, a portion of which may be tax deductible. For more information, email carmen@csusm.edu or call 760 750-4402.
