The 3rd Annual Student Video Festival was held on Friday, May 9, in Arts 111, from 7 to 9 p.m.
This is a juried screening of student work from across the campus. This year over 50 works were submitted and 15 were chosen. The Film Festival award results are as follows:
• Best Editing: "Misconception" by Jeremy Root, VPA major
• Best Personal Memoir: "The Hardest Part" by Ashley Pinkerton, Communication major
• Best Documentary: "Sacrifices: One Marine's Story" by Sebastian Maselli & Erin Maddox,

• Most Empowering Voice: "My Life" by Dominique Young Tyler
• Best Social Justice Video: "An Interview With Elijo Gonzalez" by Jesus Yanez, VPA major/Film
Studies minor
• Audience Award: "Recital" by Heather Gautier, Communication major/Film Studies minor
• Best Experimental: "Public Pain" by Damon Adamo, VPA major
• Best Sound Design: "Everyman" by Chris Racon, VPA major
